Guildwood, a set on Flickr.
This is a little gem is in Guildwood. Totally worth wandering around and getting glimpses of Toronto’s past before glass and steel.

This is Frank. He is cat in residence at Pia’s ballet studio. He can be very grouchy, and very fun at the same time. He knows that I am a dog person, and puts up with me. OK, that is not entirely true….I do have a few scratches and bites.
Thank you for putting up with my camera, Frank

I was ay my wife’s ballet studio this morning and she pointed out a vase of flowers they had recieved the day before.
The sun was coming up and this ray of light was traveling on a crash course towards the flowers.
I ran for my 50mm prime.
I think the results where pretty awesome.

WOW…the first robin of spring!
I am very happy she stuck around long enough for me to get my camera. I was hiding behind our front door. She almost seemed to pose as if she knew that I was there.
Thank you Robin for making my day and letting me know that spring is really here even though the ground is still white.

This is a stitch of 102 indivitual photographs.
It works out to be a 110 Magapixel photo.
An early morning and a little work on a PC, some amazing results can happen.

Sometimes you have to just sit back and let a photo op come to you.
I was sitting on the sofa and the morning light moved across the floor. Thank you William for not cleaning up your blocks last night.

This is one of my favorite things to do, spending the day at the Zoo with my family.
We will generally pick a cold or overcast day to avoid the crowds. This photo was take at feeding time on a cold winter day.
I thought it would be a good one to enhance with HDR.
I think the post processing was worth the effort.
cheers 🙂

This is a Hyda bowl that was my Mom and Dad’s. Today, it is in my office and I pass it every day.  Every time I look at it, I remember where it was in the old house in Chilliwack.
My dad has passed away and the house is gone, but the fond memories remain.
I miss you dad.
