Now, take the same picture and treat it 2 ways. Two different results and feelings.

I have to say that the colour version is nice, but I much prefer the Black and White version.

I use lightroom as a dark room product and am very happy with it.

Your opinions are encouraged.

What are your thoughts? critiques?

I think I actually print and frame these.  I think the black and white versions in a black frame and a large white mat…no?

I have started looking at things with black and white in mind. Refections, angles and sunlight take on a whole different character when processed in monochrome.
I think that older buildings just scream the various shades of grey but new structures like the ROM can work their own reflective magic.

Hmmmm…….what else is around the corner?

I know that there are the purists that may not like photo manipulation. For me, I have cleaned up, adjusted levels and cropped my photographs. I think is one of the key advanteges to the digital age of photography.

The above is a heavily twisted photo of mine of Toronto. I saw the effect on the web and thought I would try the same.

I think it turned out very well.

It is very easy to do. This link gave me all that I needed.
