Time by Roger's Eye <(r)>

Take an object you see every day. In this case, it is my egg timer from the stove. Look at it in a different way. A 100mm Macro lens will help. The results can be amazing.

I seems that the 100mm spends more time on my camera than any other lens.

I think that B&W helped here.

Let me know what you think.

DoF by Roger's Eye

These two shots differ by one thing. By adjusting the aperture, you can increase the amount of area that is in focus. What do you lose? Detail in short. These are the extremes the camera allows to demonstrate the point. The short Dof is f2.8 and the long is f22. I guess it depends on how short you want your DoF for a nice bokeh.

Bokeh……I guess I should visit this topic next time. 🙂
Still working my way around the camera dial, last stop Manual.

Wandering around the studio again.

It is amazing the results you can get with a really short depth of field.
